The revolutionary new High Output Gas Fires solve the age
old problem that occurs with inset gas fires in that they
are known to be low in overall heat output. And, while they
appear very decorative and house warming, the actual heat
produced by conventioanl inset fires is very low - equivalent
to no more than 1½ bars on a typical freestanding
electric fire. conventionally, much of the heat produced
went up the chimney.
High Output Gas Fires solve that problem at a stroke. A
new concept in Gas Fires, designed to suit most of our Cast
Iron Fireplaces, without any modificatiions, and offering
twice the heat output of other inset gas fires, typically
producing around 3.05 kiloWatts.
Available
either as Class 1 fires with a rear Hot Box, which reflects
most potentially lost heat outwards into the room.
Suits
the following Arched Insert Fireplaces and Fascias where
a cast back is fitted:
-
Royal Fascia

...and
the following Tiled Insert Fireplaces where a Cast back
is not required:
- Sovereign
-
Tulip
- Galway
- Art
Nouveau
- Toulouse
- Edwardian
Also
available for use with "precast" concrete flues
constructed of gas flue blocks to BS1289 (British Standards).
Alternatively,
High Output Gas Fires can be offered as a Powerflue model
- a new flue outlet control, with electrical fan extraction
ducted to an outside wall. These new fires typically output
just over 3 kiloWatts - double that usually associated with
inset Gas Fires.
Because
they operate with the damper closed, no heat is lost up
the chimney - in fact, no chimney is actually required with
the Powerflue. Powerflues
require a 240 volt electricity supply.
No airbrick
is required for any model in this range. All High Output
fires are available for natural Gas and certain models for
LPG - please enquire.
All fires in this range are Eurpoean Union (CE) approved
and come with a 2 year Parts & Labour Warranty in mainland
United Kingdom.
AMERICAN
CUSTOMERS PLEASE NOTE
While our gas and electric fires conform to the required
British and European standards, they are not approved by
the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) for use
in the USA and consequently we are unable to supply either
gas or electric fires to American customers.
