Designed
and manufactured with quality and comfort in mind, the Classic
offers the feel of a real coal fire as well as creating
a warm glowing focal point to your room. It
is an economical fire, reducing conventional gas consumption
with increased heat output from the fire bed.

Features
All
Classic Gas Fires incorporate a pre-aerated burner, multifunctional
gas control, oxy-depletion pilot burner, piezo Ignition
and a multi-hole injector as standard. It also has the industry
standard BM Valve which offers a combination gas safety
control valve for semi-automatic operation, with thermo-electic
flame failure device, piezo igniter and flow control by
means of a disk valve.
Wall Mounted Manual Controls
If preferred,
the manual control can be replaced by a wall mounted device,
located up to 1 metre away, which eliminates the need to
bend down to operate the gas fire - a boon to the elderly
and disabled, and without the additional cost of a full
remote control system - there is no surcharge for this facility,
which can be included as standard.
The Gas Fire Bed
The
gas fire bed can be supplied with either of three options:
- The
Glowing Fibre Board (shown above)
- The
Glowing Blanket (shown below)
- Granulated
Pumice (shown below) - suitable for cast iron fire baskets

Remote Controls
With
the Classic we can offer two types of remote control:
- A
Permanent Pilot: This is a servomotor operated valve with
a permanent pilot control allowing for infinite adjustment
from Low to High Fire.
- The
'E' Flame Remote Ignition & Control System: This operates
in conjunction with our standard pilot burner and Oxygen
Depletion System (ODS), and features main valve function
shutoff and Low to High modulation. This system is only
suitable for burner sizes B and above (See Table
on Gas Fires FAQs).
The Genesis Custom-Made
Inset Gas Fire
With
the charm and appearance of a natural coal fire, The genesis
offers a balance of decorativeness and efficiency, cleanliness
and instant control with either Natural Gas or LPG.
Dancing yellow flames and bright radiant heat combine to
create a truly enjoyable experience and a sistinct economy
in operation.

This
configuration is especially suitable and we recommend it
for fireplaces with cast and ceramic backs, where the fibre
board insulates against excessive heat loss through the
fire back.
